a little something

Either I've had the flu for 4 months or I'm growing a baby.  Based on the booming heartbeat that we heard at the midwife's and the little wiggles that I feel when I am still, I conclude that it is certainly a baby growing in there.  Cora thinks she is growing one too.

from one P-town to the next P-town, again

we've landed back home.  cora's stoked.  no joke.  she is going around rediscovering everything around our apt and saying, "that's my bathtub.  that's my bed.  that's my book.  that's my chair."   It is pretty cute.  I wonder what was going on in her head while we were away even though we kept reassuring her that we were coming back.

I think it is safe to say that we are done with cross country road trips for a while.   It took us three full days in the car each way.  Remarkably, it went pretty smoothly and Cora did pretty good too!  We didn't stop much, but for dinner one day we stopped at subway.  She refuses to eat a sandwich like a normal person and wanted it cut into bites.  Ryan and I were struggling because we left our plastic knife in the car, so I started ripping the sandwich into bitesized pieces.  She grinned and said, "Thanks for saving my life Mama."  hahahahaha.

Other than feeling totally mixed up with the time and feeling exhausted from traveling, cleaning, and some unpacking, we are doing good.  Ready to start the next internship.......as a 4th year!!!  Way to go Ryan!!

sigh of relief

Ryan passed boards!  Equally as exciting, but not nearly as life-changing as the previous announcement, Cora is actually napped during nap time!
